Choosing a Blanket

Choosing a weighted blanket will vary based on an individual's needs. The most common formula used for weighted blankets is between 8-10% of your total body weight (**plus or minus 1 or 2 pounds). If you are worried the blanket may be too heavy, please consult your healthcare professional as to which weight and size is right for you. 

The DreamHug™ Weighted Blanket is not recommended for anyone under the weight of 50 pounds. Please continue to check back with us as we may offer a lighter option in the future.
